Choosing an Air Fryer for Fried Zucchinis

The key to making these air fried zucchinis is simple. It would help if you had a quality air fryer, and for the most part, they all do a fantastic job. I use the #1 rated air fryer in 2020: COSORI Smart WiFi Air Fryer 5.8QT.

Prepare Ingredients for Air Fryer Zucchini Fries

First, wash and cut the zucchinis into quartered pieces lengthwise.

Then, dry with a paper towel and place aside.

In one of the bowls, beat the eggs or egg substitute. Season with sea salt and pepper. In another bowl, mix the bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Lastly, in a third bowl, pour the flour of choice.

Grab a zucchini and first, coat with flour. Next, dip into the egg wash. Lastly, dip into the breadcrumb mix.

Using an oil spray , generously spray the zucchini with oil.

Add the coated zucchini into the air fryer. Make sure you place them on a single layer. Depending on the size of your fryer, you will need to cook multiple batches.

Cook for 8-10 minutes at 400F or until crispy. Making sure they do not burn.

Serve while hot and crunchy. Add your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
